"What if you were told you only have 3 months to live? What would you do?"
Would you go to work?
Would you care about school?
Would you clean the house?
Would you spend time in nature?
Would you watch every sunset?
Would you enjoy your family?
Would you pray?
The sacred Mayan calendar has been in use in various forms for more than 2,000 years. The Mayans system of timekeeping followed the movement of celestial bodies with amazing - truly AMAZING - accuracy. Many are talking about its "end" date: December 21, 2012.
People bring this date up again and again as if it will be the end of the world.
If December 21, 2012 was the end of the world, would you do anything different?
What if this "end of the world" idea is a misinterpretation?
What if it is the dawning of a new era for humankind, the beginning of something bigger and grander?
Still I ask... would you do anything different?
I don't really know for sure what is going to happen... maybe absolutely nothing... and we'll all have a big laugh on December 22nd.
But internally I do feel shifts happening. And in the world I do see shifts happening.
No matter what prophacies say, I feel a great urgancy to make every moment matter. Every moment is an opportunity for "shift" to happen. I could love more, forgive better, and know true peace, in any situation that occurs.

Love the collage ~ Those eyes are awesome. I really want to try collages soon. I have a hard time being "abstract". I think that's what making collages requires, but perhaps I'm wrong

Seeing this...and reading this...on the very day that my doctor's office calls to say that my routine mammogram results came back with an 'abnormal' reading - talk about shape shifting!
I'd like to be around to take a trip to the Mayan ruins in 2012...the beauty of it is the unknown. AND...I love the 'old hippie soul' of the afro in your design - vivid & subtle all at once.
