I Am The Walrus on the Hawk.
Every clock stopped at a different time.
The urge to do settles.
The soul stills.

Shannan,
Breathtaking! Hubby & I had a wild hair this past weekend. Our 3 youngest had an overnight invitation with friends. So, we threw a tent & some sleeping bags in the back of our vehicle and drove up out of the stifling heat and concrete of Texas to the cleaner hills in Oklahoma. It had been raining for days and the barometric pressure in between torrential storms was weighing heavily on my thoughts and emotions. As soon as we reached the lake, the clouds parted to reflect the blue sky and as I gazed across the rocky bluffs through the oak trees and felt the cool breeze over the water, I took a cleansing breath and my soul relaxed.
I'm so glad you were able to connect with nature and your beloved one. We need to do things like this as often as possible!
