"Come to me, you who hunger and thirst, you who struggle, you who long for a better way, who feel burdened and oppressed. Come, you who are afflicted, who feel inequality, injustice.
I will take your sorrow and return wisdom.
I will take your tears and return a blessing."
From "Vision - A Personal Call to Create a New World" by Ken Carey
The quote above is but one from an exquisite little tome I have read a hundred times and have been carrying around like a life preserver for my spirit this week.
It was written in 1985 by a postal worker who "heard" it's message from a presence he witnessed while he was very ill and snowed in at a remote cabin.
I've owned, then gifted, so many copies... but it has been getting harder to find, so my current copy is precious.
I feel that now, more than ever, it is imperative for us to draw intimately close to our highest essence, our source... and to be better representatives of love in our external lives.
We are all being called from the core of our being to evolve to a new level of living in this world.
Some of you are listening.
You know who your are.
It takes an enormous amount of courage to step out of the box of convention and follow the faint but undeniable song that sings from your soul. As soon as you make the commitment to listen and follow and dance to that song, you may encounter some big "STOP!" energies ~ huge, seemingly insurmountable obstacles.
I know I have.
These obstacles have teeth. They try to scare you. They may cause pain and grief and confusion. Or worse, they may cause you to doubt yourself, your truth, and your purpose.
Do not run.
And most definitely do not stop being in the flow of what you were here to be.
I will do the same.
Namaste,
C H E Z
Wow, I just discovered you and I am so glad I did. You move me to tears with your stunning images and with your words, I am even more impressed with 'YOUR' quotes than with those from the book. So inspiring in ways undescribable.

Wow... thank you so much! I wrote this as a support for myself after being told I should stop the blog and not share some of my pages. That it was too personal and revealing and could be harmful in some way.
You comment supports my intention to continue.
AND I know your art well! Flitting through all the blogs I see you mentioned everywhere. I was glad to see we share the same space in AJ! And I am honored you visited me here!
Namaste,
Shannan
